You'll notice that we're back with some NEW theme music, some NEW energy, some GREAT guests ahead, and some FRESH direction for this resource! Can you tell we're excited? 🙂
To kick off the new year, Austin and I are sharing 3 things that every church leader needs to be prepared for throughout 2021.
We are believing God has incredible things ahead for His Church this year, but there are some things we need to structure for and be prepared for to walk the journey ahead. We're looking forward to walking that journey with you!
1) You'll experience a pressure to perform at an unhealthy level. Whether we admit it or not, so many of us experienced feelings of failure due to how 2020 went. This will lead many of us to feel the pressure to swing to an unhealthy level of busyness to fill the void that insecurity has created.
2) You're going to need to understand hybrid church (actively, not passively). This year the real opportunity of hybrid ministry became concrete for all of us. Moving forward, we all need to give the SAME amount of energy and focus to our in-person experience and our digital presence/experience. It's not optional anymore.
3) You need to be prepared to renew your hope. You can't have faith until you have hope. And a lot of us lost a lot of hope in 2020. God is not done with you or your ministry.
