Innovative Ways To Reach The Harvest (w/ Todd Meert) – Episode 288

Todd Meert’s ministry journey is much different than most. He launched into full-time ministry in his early forties. Serving on several mission trips to Africa with his local church ultimately led him to accept his ministry calling. However, he didn’t know at the time just how much those early years were preparing him to create a ministry in his hometown, unlike any other.

Todd joins Dale on today’s 95Podcast to share the step-by-step process that eventually became Harvest 10:2. He has a compelling story of how simply listening to the Holy Spirit’s guidance helped him connect with many people who were far from God.

Key Takeaways

1) God used Todd’s love of basketball to create an impactful outreach on the mission trips to Africa.

2) It’s not hard to create an effective online ministry connection. Simply sharing an overview of your weekly Sunday sermon in three- to four-minute clips works great.

3) Most church buildings sit empty throughout the week. We’ve found innovative ways of using our great location to serve our community.

4) We are committed to creating avenues for our congregation to do life together. So much of our connection with non-church folks happens here.
