Racial reconciliation doesn’t happen automatically. Only through intentional efforts will our churches begin to have meaningful conversations to bridge the gap between different cultures.

1) John 17:20-23 reveals that Jesus had His followers becoming “one” as the most important thing on His mind as He was preparing to go to the cross in a few hours.
2) Jesus is not in a hurry. Therefore, connecting with other cultures is not intended to be a “pressure-filled” achievement to accomplish. Instead, the goal is simply to get (and keep) the conversation going.
3) The most important thing you can do is lead those in your charge to pray.
4) As baby boomers age, the focus on cultural unity will continue to increase. The generations coming up aren’t content with the status quo of the current church environments.
