Greg Surratt has experienced ministry leadership from many different perspectives. The early days of being in a Christian band, leading small churches, and becoming the founding pastor of Seacoast Church and helping to create ARC (Association of Related Churches) have given Greg a deep understanding of what ministry leaders encounter.
Greg joins Dale on today’s 95Podcast to share his deep passion for pastoral health, which is what led him to help create The Retreat at Church Creek. His transparency and genuine desire to serve ministry leaders are truly inspiring. The hope of this podcast is that you will find time for some soul care amidst your ongoing leadership journey.

Key Takeaways
1) There haven’t been many outlets where pastors can be real, let their guard down, and share what is really happening in their lives.
2) Although many pastors often feel that they are failing, the reality is that God has never felt that way.
3) The level of distrust among many leaders deepens over time as one unresolved conflict builds upon another.
4) Every leader needs to be willing to sit at the table with a group of other leaders who love you but are not impressed with you so that they can tell you the truth.
